Chimera

As cinematographer and producer on Chimera, I worked alongside director Daniel Cantu to capture the story of a newly pro skater processing the loss of his mother through pottery. The documentary follows his journey as he channels grief into creation, finding a new artistic outlet beyond skateboarding.

Shot with an intimate, observational approach, Chimera blends kinetic skate footage with quiet, reflective moments in the studio—contrasting movement with stillness to mirror his evolving relationship with loss. It was an honor to help bring this story to life, exploring the ways creativity can become a form of healing.
