PopSugar x SunChips

For this branded project with PopSugar and SunChips, I worked as the cinematographer, capturing the story of Julia, a leader of a collective empowering young women through skateboarding and surfing. As someone who’s been part of skate culture since childhood, this project was especially exciting—I immediately connected with Julia over our shared experiences, which helped shape the visual approach.

The shoot balanced dynamic movement with intimate moments, highlighting Julia’s impact on her community. It was a rewarding experience to bring authenticity to a story that resonated deeply with me, blending my passion for filmmaking with my roots in skateboarding.
